PHOENIX, July 17, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Great Hearts, Arizona’s largest non-profit public charter school provider, has announced it will begin offering free bus transportation for students enrolled at its downtown Phoenix location, Teleos Preparatory Academy.
Great Hearts is committed to providing a world-class education to all students. By offering safe, quality transportation services for the 2017-2018 school year, Great Hearts will expand its reach throughout the neighborhood and provide much needed access to more students, while continuing to serve the existing student population.
“At Teleos Prep we understand that getting kids to our school can be an obstacle for some families,” says Headmaster Christina Lucas-Sheffield. “Offering transportation is a direct response to the needs of our enrolled families; and it also provides more families with the ability to choose Teleos as the best education option for their children.”
In 2016, Teleos Prep outperformed surrounding area schools on both English Language Arts and Math AzMERIT exams, positioning it as the leading open-enrollment K-8 school in downtown Phoenix. “Teleos provides the kind of education that inspires students to achieve success, inside and outside the classroom, and we are excited to see more eager young scholars come through our doors,” stated Lucas-Sheffield.
Teleos Preparatory Academy, located at 1401 E. Jefferson Street, Phoenix, Arizona, is now enrolling for all grade levels, K-8, for the upcoming 2017-2018 school year. Please visit our enrollment page or call 602.438.7045 x 351 for more information.
