Dubset And Merlin Agree To Partnership Covering Independent Labels

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Dubset Media, a company bringing transparency, control, and new catalog royalties to rights holders, today announced the company has reached an agreement on a partnership with Merlin, the global digital rights agency for the world’s independent label sector. Under the agreement, Dubset will immediately begin identifying and registering Merlin member catalogs for use, allowing those labels and distributors to begin monitoring, managing, and monetizing use of their recordings. A growing number of major music services are now utilizing Dubset’s MixBANK™ to ensure the mix and remix content they receive for distribution is properly cleared and administered.

The company inked a deal earlier this year with Sony Music Entertainment to manage and monetize its catalog within mix and remix content.
