Blackman will focus on scaling its business of providing leading organizations, governments, and companies access to its data and analytics platform that empowers decision makers with real-time, actionable intelligence from its global network of on-the-ground contributors. He brings over 20 years of experience leading mission driven, high growth technology companies in Silicon Valley.

Prior to joining Premise, Blackman served as President and CEO of Accela from 2007-2016, a global government technology company. He’s currently a board member for Forensic Logic, Omnia Partners, Govlist, and is an investor and advisor for the Urban Innovation Fund. In 2016, Ernst & Young named Blackman ‘Northern California’s Entrepreneur of the Year‘ – becoming the first civic tech entrepreneur to win the award.
