Q. During a roadside inspection, is it required to have unassigned driving reports available?

A. Yes, it is required that the inspected driver’s profile and the unidentified driver profile be available as separate reports during a roadside inspection. It can either be presented as a printout or on a display.

If there are no unidentified driver records existing on the ELD for the current 24-hour period or for any of the previous seven consecutive days, there is no need to present unidentified driver records to the inspector.
